Case Overview
A 45-year-old patient presented with a missing mandibular first molar, resulting in compromised chewing efficiency and progressive bone resorption at the edentulous site. Following comprehensive clinical and radiographic evaluation, the case was deemed suitable for implant-supported rehabilitation. A Refirm Implant was selected to provide predictable primary stability, long-term osseointegration, and an esthetic restorative outcome.
Clinical Challenge
The treatment objective was to restore posterior function while preserving the surrounding bone and soft tissue architecture. The available bone volume allowed implant placement without the need for additional grafting, enabling a minimally invasive treatment approach.
Treatment Approach
The Refirm Implant was placed using a standard surgical protocol with excellent insertion torque and primary stability. After an uneventful healing phase, prosthetic restoration was completed using a custom abutment and zirconia crown, restoring both function and esthetics.
